Why I Started Tail & Tiller
Dogs give us their entire lives — they deserve better in return. Better food, better care, and more healthy years beside the people who love them.
While training at Fort Benning to become an infantryman in the Minnesota Army National Guard, I missed my dog, Bo Jack, more than almost anything. When I came home, I saw how age was catching up with him, and I wished I'd done more earlier to support his health through better nutrition.
That's why Tail & Tiller was never meant to be just another dog food company. Our mission is bigger than food: helping dogs live longer, healthier lives while supporting the rescues, shelters, and service-dog organizations that strengthen the bond between dogs and the people who need them most.
