Why I started Tail & Tiller

This Was Never Meant To Be Just Another Dog Food Brand

While training at Fort Benning to become an infantryman for the Minnesota Army National Guard, I missed my dog, Bo Jack, more than almost anything. When I came home, I saw how age was catching up with him, and I wished I'd done more earlier to support his health through better nutrition.

That's why Tail & Tiller was never meant to be just another dog food company. Our mission is bigger than food: helping dogs live longer, healthier lives while supporting the rescues, shelters, and service-dog organizations that strengthen the bond between dogs and the people who need them most.

Dogs give us their entire lives — they deserve better in return. Better food, better care, and more healthy years beside the people who love them.
